The Jolly Fisherman was recently named in the Daily Mail’s Top 25 English beer gardens. Listed 4th and the highest of any North East contender, the news outlet praises The Jolly’s Northumberland beer garden for its winning combination of sensational views, fantastic food and friendly service.

Readers were encouraged to arrive hungry as the The Jolly Fisherman is known for its generous portions of hearty dishes. 

With warmer weather becoming the norm, we’re expecting a bumper summer season as The Jolly is placed along a popular walking and hiking route on the Northumberland coast. 

Tables are available on a first-come first-served basis in our fantastic beer garden.

We will also be re-opening our takeaway Fish & Chips van this Saturday 15th July 2023, situated at the front of the pub. Name a better way to spend your weekend!
